The clasp features a cabochon-cut blue sapphire.
The interior is gilded.
Hallmarks: 830, moon and crown, and many other marks.
This box could be by Louis Kuppenheim, as he often used blue sapphires in the clasps.
This is, however, not certain; perhaps from one of his employees?
In good condition with minimal signs of wear.
The clasp and hinge work perfectly.
