Description from the seller
In this presentation we introduce a commemorative design authority: the Montblanc 100 Years Anniversary Edition (Historical Edition). Produced in 2006 to celebrate the centennial of the Hamburg house (1906-2006), this pen stands as a philological homage to the early 'Simplo' writing instruments of the previous century. In the 2026 market, the Historical Edition is one of the most sought-after versions of the centenary series for its discreetly vintage charm and its flawless ergonomics.
The body is made of black precious resin, with a profile that recalls the essential and authoritative lines of the legendary 'Rouge et Noir'. The finishes are enriched by gold plating, imparting warmth and prestige to the piece. The cap, with a screw closure, is adorned on the front with the historic Montblanc logo engraved in the original-era style. At the top, the white star emblem stands out with the purity of the maison’s early models. The piece is configured as a Rollerball, offering smooth and constant writing.
A fundamental technical detail of this lot is the customization on the cap: a blind engraving (F. J.), testimony to the exclusive character of this object belonging to a private collection. The originality and the limited edition are guaranteed by the serial number engraved on the top of the barrel, which identifies the specimen within the commemorative centennial production.
The condition is: In excellent condition — rarely used and with slight signs of wear. The resin preserves its deep lustre and the gold parts are bright. Only minimal storage marks are noted on the clip and the barrel, almost invisible to the naked eye. The pen is presented with its original box, an element that preserves its collectible value and guarantees its authority at auction.
