Chance Table
“Chance Table” presents a scene of encounter where music, gaming, and silence coexist within the same atmosphere. Three figures gather around a table, accompanied by guitars and cards that introduce a subtle tension between playfulness and emotion.
The composition is built from a contemporary cubist language, fragmenting faces, bodies, and objects into color planes that overlap and dialogue with each other. Turquoises, pinks, ochres, blacks, and oranges create an intense and enveloping scene, in which each element seems to form part of a single visual rhythm.
The cards function as symbols of luck, decision, and what remains hidden until the last moment. The guitars, on the other hand, add a more intimate and sensory dimension, as if the music accompanied a silent conversation among the characters.
The title “Chance Table” thus suggests a space where nothing is fully decided: every gesture, every card, and every gaze can alter the balance of the scene.
The work turns a daily encounter into a composition charged with tension, complicity, and mystery, where music and chance seem to share the same table.
