Description from the seller
Bruno Vigoroso (born in 1954) is a French multimedia artist and painter, deeply rooted in the Southern France art scene.
Origins and anchoring: Based in Toulon, his work is imbued with Mediterranean urban culture, the colors of the harbor and the bustle of the street.
Career and techniques: Trained in the plastic arts, he initially started with sculpture before turning overwhelmingly to painting due to space constraints. He is particularly renowned for his Pop Art compositions, his light boxes, his assemblages and his accumulations of objects or old toys. His work also includes animal sculptures in resin or terracotta.
Milou is a theme dear to the artist, a terracotta (Original) with a superb patina and in excellent preservation.
Reach/Visibility: His works are regularly exhibited in France and presented in galleries as well as in public sales (with international visibility in cities such as New York, Hamburg or Hong Kong).
