Description from the seller
BIO
I was born in Varese in 1996 and grew up in Como. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child and, after studying at the art high school, I turned this passion into my work.
In 2019 I opened my studio and exhibition space in Cernobbio, where I pursue simultaneously my two creative halves: painting and tattooing.
MY STYLE
Since 2020 my artistic research has focused on Pop Art, reinterpreted through a personal, direct and contemporary language.
Iconic characters and recognizable images meet graffiti, provocative phrases, bright colors and strong contrasts. Irony and lightness coexist with deeper messages: love, ambition, emotions, contradictions and everyday life.
Each work is born from experimentation and the fusion of different techniques and materials: acrylic, spray paint, plaster and objects become part of a language in constant evolution.
COLLABORATIONS & EXHIBITIONS
The spread of my works on social media has led me to realize works and collaborations with personalities from the worlds of sport, music and entertainment, including Sfera Ebbasta, Rafael Leão, Theo Hernández, Antonio Candreva, Matt Biese, Muller, Andreas, Steven Basalari, Roberryc and Max Angioni.
I have participated in international exhibitions and events, including Digital Week 2023 and Porsche’s 75th anniversary in France. My works have also reached Canada, exhibited at the Arte Cavallo gallery in Montreal.
VISION
My goal is to continue evolving without losing what makes my work recognizable: energy, immediacy and expressive freedom.
I want to bring my works into new spaces, collaborate with international realities and transform every project into something able to grab attention and leave an impression.
Art, for me, is not simply what I do. It is the way I tell who I am.
Title: Love me 4 ever
Dimensions: 100 × 100 cm
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Creation: Entirely hand-painted
Edition: Unique piece – 1/1
Artist: Federico Picariello
Description
Love me 4 ever is a contemporary work that tells the conflict between love, solitude and self-discovery.
At the center of the composition dominates a large red, tactile and deliberately imperfect heart, symbol of an intense feeling that carries marks, wounds and contradictions. Above it, two colored figures face each other: they seem to be looking for each other, yet remain separate.
All around, words, thoughts and hand-written phrases transform the canvas into a kind of emotional diary. “Alone”, “Never Broke Again”, “Where are you?”, “Only Me”, “Love” and “Hate” recount the different phases of a relationship: desire, dependence, anger, detachment and finally the attempt to return to choosing oneself.
The strong contrast between the tactile red of the heart, the white background and the instinctive black stroke creates an immediate and visually powerful work, halfway between Pop Art, Urban Art and neo-expressionist language.
Alone does not merely tell the end of a love affair, but that moment when love and pain coexist and one wonders whether to keep seeking the other or to start again from oneself.
Original artwork 1/1, entirely handmade in acrylic on canvas, 100 × 100 cm. Accompanied by an authenticity certificate signed by the artist.
