Description from the seller
“Resistance 1975” – Ultra-limited Edition (10 copies) - New collection
Edition number: 02/10
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Premium art paper – ISO A2 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
A powerful work where nostalgia for great animated epics meets the radical energy of street art.
Inspired by the spirit of OBEY, this composition adopts the codes of graphic propaganda: monumental typography, a deliberately limited palette, frontal symmetry, and a message of resistance. The solar gaze dominates the scene like a protective figure, while the silhouettes, trees, and gears tell of a world split between humanity, mechanical power, and the desire for freedom.
The burnt orange, patinated cream, and midnight blue tones enhance its vintage character, evoking a silkscreen poster found in the archives of a parallel-future. The aged textures, print marks, and mechanical details give the overall piece an authentic, immediately recognizable presence.
More than a homage to Goldorak, RESISTANCE 1975 celebrates a generation marked by rebellious heroes, collective struggles, and the idea that sometimes one must disobey to stay free.
A strong piece designed to become the centerpiece of a living room, a desk, a creative studio, or a collector’s space.
The spirit of the work
Resist. Protect. Transmit.
A visual statement for those who refuse conformity.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile background who grew up immersed in the 1980s/1990s culture, inspiring a large portion of his works.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), later elected Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” in October and has also been featured in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his position on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has established himself in the digital works market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play define a style that is now essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist Rated & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to rework Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic avarice of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and superheroes is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories as does Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes echoes Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’ glossy look or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
