Description from the seller

"Pop Effervescence" – Ultra Limited Edition (10 copies) - New collection
Edition number: 02/10
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Premium art paper – ISO A2 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included

With Pop Effervescence, SKE reinterprets luxury codes and blasts them straight into his street & pop art universe. At the center of the composition, the iconic Dom Pérignon bottle becomes a true graphic canvas, surrounded by a profusion of smiling flowers, torn collages, textures and colorful projections.

The work declares its inspiration and pays homage to the collaboration between Takashi Murakami and Dom Pérignon, a spectacular meeting of champagne, pop culture and contemporary art. Here, SKE offers a personal interpretation, more urban and instinctive, where the champagne’s elegance dialogues with street energy.

The pop flowers, bold colors and visual density contrast with the deep black of the central bottle, creating a composition that is instantly recognizable and particularly dynamic. Between a desirable object, popular culture and a nod to the art market, Pop Effervescence celebrates this unlikely meeting of prestige and street culture.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring the majority of his works.

He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, cementing his position on the contemporary art scene. Parallel to this, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and textured play characterize a now‑essential style.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Renowned & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits within a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to rework Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics and superheroes is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style reminiscent at times of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca‑Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textures that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
