Description from the seller
- Limited edition of the artwork "Graffiti Beagle" by the artist SKE
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-grade Hahnemühle art paper. ISO A3 size (42x29.7 cm), easy to frame.
- Edition number: 07/10
- Artwork created and drawn on a graphics tablet and Photoshop, no AI used. Theme: Comic/Snoopy and Banksy.
- We thought we knew Banksy… until Snoopy draws his bomb.
Behind his guise of a well-behaved dog, he leaves his paw on the wall and signs one of his most striking coups.
Between a nod to the street and deliberate subversion, "Graffiti Beagle" transforms the pop culture icon into an anonymous artist.
A playful tribute to a world where even dogs have something to say — provided they have style.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile background who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double readings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. He was the winner of the first prize at the Urban Master competition (2023), then élu Révélation de l’année at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as the "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, reinforcing his position on the contemporary art scene. Parallelly, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play characterize a style that has become indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Renowned & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line echoes the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to subvert the Mona Lisa by Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms, to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on collective imagery, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphics is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol stands alongside luxury and fashion logos. His works capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that evoke the glossy surfaces of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior."
