Description from the seller

This is a beautiful photograph of the stunning Austro-American actress Hedy Lamarr, perhaps the most beautiful woman ever to appear on the cinema stage, a beauty perhaps a bit aristocratic but "absolute", also regarded as a woman of surprising intelligence, and an inventor in the 1940s of the well-known FHSS, a fundamental communication system, today even at the basis of the WI-FI and Bluetooth systems.

This lovely image was taken in 1951 during the film "My Favorite Spy", with Bob Hope, with the beautiful actress then in her thirties, and it is a shot attributed to Victor Milner, a great American photographer, and winner of an Oscar.

This photograph was published in December 1951, and on the back of the photograph we find the "newspaper clipping" of the era identical to the front photo, a detail that considerably increases the interest in this photograph.

The aesthetic conditions are more than good, some erasures on the front (needs editorial revision) and an editorial inscription, probably all things of the era.

The format is about 19x23 cm.
