Description from the seller
A remarkable work by the Dutch painter and sculptor Will Leewens, full name Willibrordus Joseph Leeuwens (The Hague, 1923–1986).
Leewens belongs to the artists of the Nieuwe Haagse School, a progressive art movement that since the fifties has occupied an important place within Dutch post-war art. In his work he developed a completely unique visual language, with influences from internationally renowned artists such as Georges Braque and Joan Miró evident.

Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition we have our own in-house framing department, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore we make use of restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
