This item is a VERY RARE piece, ideal for both collectors and for practical use
Although there are conflicting pieces of information, it seems that Parker Duofold was introduced to the market in 1921 using leftovers of red ebonite stock from a Parker worker.
Although Parker Duofold met with immediate great success, it did not have an easy life at first because the material tended to crumble and this had a large impact on warranty costs.
The turning point for Parker Duofold is instead linked to 1926 when the first Duofolds in celluloid were released on the market. Initially the color was always red, but later more color variations were introduced.
Currently the Duofold is one of the most appreciated and distinctive models of the Parker manufacturing house.
