The piece is built on a solid metal base (which provides a very pleasant, balanced weight despite its slenderness) coated with rich gold plating. The entire body and cap are decorated with a sophisticated pattern of fine vertical lines engraved (pinstripe), which amplifies the gold’s brilliance and improves grip.
