Description from the seller
1970s Teisco Encore Violin electric guitar Sunburst. This guitar has barely been played and, considering its age, looks very good. No cracks in the finish and still a nice shine. 1 blemish on the bottom of the body and 1 on the back next to the neck plate. The guitar is still in the original case.

These Teisco instruments were made in Japan and often carried various strange brand names, including Encore. This one has a fully hollow body and distinctive, surf-like single-coil pickups. The neck is one of the high-quality, multi-piece maples, which you normally also find on the Sharkfin guitars from this manufacturer (though with a different headstock shape) and they feel like a hybrid between the scale length and body width of a Gibson and the neck of an old Stratocaster from the 1960s, in terms of a rounded C-shape.
Body: ply maple
Bridge: rosewood base, adjustable height
Fretboard: rosewood
Neck: multi-piece maple
Pickups: 2x Teisco single coil with adjustable pole pieces
To the best of my knowledge everything is original except the volume and tone knobs and the tremolo arm. The guitar, electronics and wiring have been checked and where necessary cleaned and re-soldered.
