Description from the seller
Corné Akkers: “Neo Deco”.
Signed on the plate.
Authorized color offset print, produced in premium matte (non-reflective) and with high color intensity.
Condition: the work is in excellent condition.
Format: 50 x 38 cm.
Corné Akkers is a Dutch artist whose work revolves around the interplay between light, shadow and the human anatomy.
Corné Akkers is the pioneer of Rondism. Where traditional cubism uses sharp, angular facets, he instead uses flowing, curved forms and bent geometry to capture the essence of a figure.
His unique visual language of form combines the structural logic of Georges Braque with the dynamic lines of Art Deco master Tamara de Lempicka.
Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper.
The displayed photos are part of the description.
