Description from the seller
Original Oval Nude Photograph — Michał Korta
**An original fine art black-and-white framed photograph by award-winning Polish photographer Michał Korta.**
This distinctive oval composition is part of Korta’s ongoing exploration of the human body and the boundaries of contemporary nude photography. Moving between representation and abstraction, the image transforms the female body into an almost sculptural form—appearing to escape ordinary perception while remaining deeply rooted in the physicality, movement, and presence of the human body.
The photograph explores the relationship between **light, shadow, skin, form, and space**. Rather than presenting the nude simply as a subject, Korta treats the body almost as a landscape or abstract sculpture, inviting the viewer to look beyond its immediate physicality.
Delicate yet powerful, the work balances intimacy with abstraction and mystery. Deep shadows gradually dissolve parts of the body, while carefully controlled light reveals its sculptural qualities. The result is a quiet, sensual and highly atmospheric photograph with a strong contemporary art character.
