Elegant vintage 20th-century pocket cigarette case in silver 800/1000 fineness, featuring rich refined floral and vegetal decoration that covers the entire outer surface.

The front presents an elaborate ornamental composition with large scrolls, leaves and floral motifs arranged symmetrically, crafted with a remarkable three-dimensional effect. The decoration gives the object a strong decorative character and sets it apart from more common silver cigarette cases with a smooth surface or simply guilloché.

The interior preserves the original mechanism intended to hold cigarettes and the side-opening/closing mechanism.

The silver bears the hallmark “800”, indicating the metal fineness, along with a small mark/number “6”. In the absence of further clearly identifiable hallmarks, the item is prudently offered as 20th-century manufacture, without attribution to a specific silversmith.
