Character of the work
Aurelia presents a vast, mountainous landscape bathed in soft, golden light. Overlapping mountain ranges guide the eye into the depths of the composition, reaching the bright horizon where the sun emerges. The dark foregrounds contrast with the illuminated sky and the distant parts of the landscape, creating a clear sense of depth.
