Table lighter - Zamac

This beautiful, cold-painted table lighter (Streichfeuerzeug) was produced around 1900 by the renowned Austrian manufacturer Argentor-Werke from Vienna.

The figurine depicts an oriental figure, dressed in richly detailed clothing with a turban, executed in cold-painted zamak (white metal).

What makes this specimen extra special is that it is 100% complete. The rare original ignition mechanism/stick, which has been lost on most examples on the market, is still present here after more than 120 years.
