Jan Mankes (1889-1920) - Portret van vader

This is a heliogravure of a portrait of the father of the Dutch artist Jan Mankes.

Once appeared in the monograph Jan Mankes from 1923, compiled by his widow A. Mankes-Zernike and R.N. Roland Holst. A rare, limited art edition in folio format with approximately 26 to 28 mounted heliogravures of his work. The work was issued by the Utrecht art dealership of J.A.A.M. van Es on the occasion of an honorary exhibition.
