JUST ANDERSEN – MODEL 2707
An authentic Danish pewter vase by Just Andersen, model 2707, 2762, featuring a distinctive square form with softly rounded shoulders and a wide square opening.
The vase is clearly marked on the underside:

This model is documented as a Just Andersen square pewter vase, with a height of approximately 14 cm and a width/depth of approximately 11 cm. Very heavy, more than 1 kg tin / pewter. Second, approx. 11 cm Height with weight 337g
The simple geometric silhouette and softly curved transitions are characteristic of Danish Art Deco and early Scandinavian modern design. Just Andersen (1884–1943) was one of Denmark's best-known metal designers and is particularly associated with pewter and his patented Disko metal.

Condition:
Original vintage condition with a beautiful aged pewter patina. The surface shows numerous signs of age and previous use, including scratches, small marks, darker areas and natural oxidation/patina. The interior is also darkened and shows signs of age and use.
The vase has not been aggressively polished, retaining much of its original aged character.
