Description from the seller

Ardmore Distillery: Founded in 1898 by Adam Teacher in the Highlands region (at Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire), the Ardmore distillery was historically established to meet the demand for malt destined for the famous Teacher's Highland Cream blended whisky. Unlike most Highland whiskies, Ardmore is renowned for producing traditionally peated Single Malts, while retaining the region's characteristic soft, honeyed profile. It is one of the last distilleries to carry out manual, in-house grain processing.
Producer/Bottler: Hunter Laing & Co. Ltd. (The Old Malt Cask series)
Distillery: Ardmore
Age: 21 Years
Distilled: April 1996
Bottled: November 2017
Type: Single Cask Bottling (Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky)
Tasting Notes (from the label)
Nose: Gentle peat, lemons, pepper.
Palate: Smoke, peat, vanilla, and pepper.
Finish: Long and peppery.
