Peter Engberg (1962) - The Lion House

Peter Engberg (born 1962) is a Swedish painter, graphic artist and illustrator, born in the coastal town of Fjällbacka, Bohuslän. He grew up in Gothenburg and Lerum and later returned to Fjällbacka, where he established his studio. The Bohuslän archipelago is one of the main sources of inspiration for his artistic world.

Engberg is largely self-taught and became established as an artist in the late 1980s. His works often combine coastal landscapes with humour and imaginative, sometimes caricatured situations. He works primarily with watercolour, but has also produced oil and acrylic paintings as well as lithographs and digital graphics.
