**Detailed Description:**
I am offering at auction the most emblematic gas lighter from S.T. Dupont: the Ligne 2 model. Recognizable among all others by its perfect proportions (62 mm tall) and the famous distinctive “clink” when the cap is opened, it is clad in a silver plating with a guilloché vertical-line pattern.

**History and Detailed Condition:**
Purchased new in 2002 (invoice and original box not kept). This lighter has been regularly used and shows an intentional patina of wear:

**Aesthetics:**
Fine micro-scratches from handling on the smooth surfaces and a small micro-ding on the rear right edge of the body and on the edge of the cap (visible in photos). The silver plating retains a very bright overall luster.

**Functionality:**
Currently "gas-less". The hinge, opening mechanism remain perfectly aligned and the spark wheel functions normally. The lighter is fully operational.
