Description from the seller
A masterpiece of writing culture: The Parker Snake Limited Edition
I am downsizing my collection and offer for purchase – one of the most sought-after collector’s items from Parker: the Snake Limited Edition from 1997. This model is an authentic reinterpretation of the legendary Parker Snake fountain pen from 1906, today regarded as one of the greatest rarities in philography.
Details & Design:
Material: The body consists of premium black resin, wrapped by a detailed snake in solid 925 sterling silver.
Gemstone setting: The eyes of the snakes on the cap and body are set with four genuine, sparkling emeralds in total.
Nib: Bi-color nib made from 18K (750) solid gold, artfully engraved with the snake motif. Nib size: M (Medium).
Limitation: Worldwide only 5,000 units were produced. This set bears the number 3654.
Condition & inclusions (Full Set):
This exemplar is offered as an absolute collector’s set. It is complete, which is increasingly rare on the market for this model:
Parker Snake fountain pen (Excellent condition, minimal age-related patina on the silver – unrestored original state).
Original Certificate of Authenticity with matching number 3654.
Leather presentation case in snake pattern.
Two accompanying booklets/pamphlets about the model’s history.
Black inner box and the rare wine-red outer box (storage traces present, see photos).
Why this set?
The Parker Snake is not just a writing instrument, but an investment. With the complete accessories (Full Set) and authentication guaranteed by the certificate, this lot is especially interesting for discerning collectors and investors.
Private sale: The sale is conducted under exclusion of any liability for defects.
No returns or exchanges: As this is a private sale, a return of the item is excluded.
Condition description: The description is provided to the best of our knowledge. Please note the detailed photos, as they are part of the condition description."
