ANTIQUE emerges from a deep, enveloping field of dark matter where blacks, browns and copper tones meet subtle metallic reflections that appear and disappear depending on the light. Its richly worked surface is filled with gestures, incisions and circular movements, creating an almost archaeological feeling—as if the painting had accumulated layers of time.

A dark horizontal band crosses the composition, creating a boundary between two distinct fields of energy. The upper section is defined by broader, more expansive movements, while the lower area becomes denser, more tactile and earthy. Copper and golden reflections emerge through the surface rather than remaining constant, changing as the viewer moves around the work or as the lighting of the room changes.
