Description from the seller
Work by Marli Turion (1952). She is a Dutch visual artist, born in 1952, known for her detailed and evocative works that explore themes of identity, self-perception and the human body, with a particular focus on women. She studied at the Art Academies in Maastricht and Arnhem. Over the years, her work has evolved, initially creating family portraits, before her focus shifted to powerful depictions of women, often with themes of vulnerability, strength and mysticism. Her figures are often isolated and placed in intricate patterns or grids, which she creates with techniques such as charcoal, acrylic paint and mixed media.

The work is on display at our gallery. Furthermore, Art Dumay operates a framing shop (this year their 85th anniversary) and a restoration studio. So if you would like to make use of these services, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
