About the artist:
Étienne Pixa (born in Strasbourg, France) is a Franco-German artist based in Berlin. He studied graphic arts and has professional experience in design and advertising, which informs the structure and visual impact of his paintings. Primarily self-taught, he has been painting since 2000, experimenting with drawing, oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, video, and spray techniques. His work oscillates between abstraction and figuration, with a strong emphasis on gesture, energy, and color. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and in artists' studios in Strasbourg and Berlin, and his works are held in private collections internationally.
