Maxime Blachère's 2025 limited edition mixed-media on canvas Notre Dame de Paris Apocalypse, 60 × 60 cm, signed by the artist, edition 30 of 30, depicting architecture in a post-apocalyptic street-art style; frame not included.
Description from the seller
The very first in the series!
An unprecedented and explosive vision of the world's most iconic cathedral.
In this work, Blachère Maxime drives Notre-Dame de Paris into a post-apocalyptic universe where heritage converses with urban culture and graffiti.
Gothic façades are covered with multicolored tags, reimagined characters, and pop culture references. Among them, Mickey and Mario are dressed as vandal graffiti artists, true symbols of subversion and the clash of eras.
Under a dramatic sky, the artist plays with visual power and offbeat humor, transforming the cathedral into a fortress of street culture. The abundant details – vibrant graffiti, flying characters, and hidden winks – make this piece both playful and impactful.
Blachère Maxime signs here a strong creation, halfway between homage and irreverence, where the sacred meets urban art in explosive energy.
Support: premium 450 g/m² canvas
Dimensions: 60 x 60 cm (plus margin for mounting on a frame)
Limited series: Only 30 numbered and signed copies by the artist worldwide.
Each canvas is carefully rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube, with insurance and tracking number.
Hand-signed certificate of authenticity included.
Frame not included.
An original piece for collectors and lovers of engaged art.
Happy bidding!
