Zippo - Godzilla Limited Edition - Pocket lighter - Metal

The deeply detailed Godzilla engraving, dark aged silver-tone finish and “LIMITED No.2424” marking immediately caught my eye. The scratches and edge wear give it a properly used feel, while the numbered Godzilla design gives collectors an obvious reason to notice it at auction.

[Appearance]

Above the artwork are the markings “LIMITED,” “No.2424” and “GODZILLA.” The detailed monster illustration has plenty of depth, and this kind of heavily engraved surface is always satisfying to look at—the darker areas naturally bring out the lines and texture.

The silver-tone case shows considerable scratches, rubbing, tarnish, discoloration and general surface wear from age and use, especially around the edges and corners. On the positive side, the Godzilla artwork remains clearly defined, and the aged finish gives the piece plenty of vintage character rather than hiding its history of use.

The bottom is stamped “ZIPPO,” “BRADFORD, PA. MADE IN U.S.A.” and additional date-code markings.
