Description from the seller

Bright, frank light of a full Atlantic noon. On a clear sandy path, a brunette woman with curly hair pushes a dark green city bicycle with a wicker basket, arms extended on the handlebars, head tilted back and eyes closed, in a white tank top and light shorts. Behind her, the basin a bold blue, a stake pier, a wooden shack with a green shutter, the low line of the coast and a tiny boat on the horizon. Semiotically, the closing of the eyes shifts the tableau from the register of seeing to that of feeling: the landscape is no longer contemplated but breathed, and the stationary bicycle becomes the base of a moment stolen from the journey. The palette — saturated navy blue, golden sand, white cotton, green of the frame — belongs fully to the luminous DNA of the corpus. Nervous facture, a visible brush stroke in the sands and grasses, a sharp and blue shadow.

Characteristics of the work:
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist on the front and back of the work.
Technique: Giclée print on canvas, using a high-quality pigment print for faithful reproduction of details and colors.
Edition: Limited to 20 copies, individually numbered.
Dimensions: 60 x 40 cm.
Framing: Delivered ready to frame, according to your preferences.
Authenticity: Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Shipping: Shipped from France, with secure packaging to ensure delivery in perfect condition.

About the artist:
LeYack (born in 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern storytelling with pictorial heritage. Drawing inspiration from photography and cinema, he bends the codes of realism to inject palpable emotional tension. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.

Keywords: neo-realist painting, seafront, bicycle, wicker basket, white tank top, pier, fishermen’s shack, Bassin d’Arcachon, Atlantic light, closed eyes, saturated blue, oil on canvas, Le Yack, Atelier Joconde
