Elegant and refined Savinelli Collection 2000, made in Italy in one of the most appreciated celebratory series of the historic Milanese workshop.
The pipe features a splendid multi-faceted head (panel bulldog) with a smooth finish that enhances an exceptionally high-quality briar, characterized by a well-distributed alternating flame grain and bird's eye. The original black ebonite stem preserves the inlay with the historic Savinelli gilt shield.
The stamp "R" on the shank identifies the briar grade. In Savinelli production, the letter is used to distinguish pieces selected for the aesthetic quality of the grain, superior to standard production and intended for the most curated series. It does not correspond to the grades "Autograph" or "Golden Jubilee", but it still indicates a selection of high-level briar, with particularly valuable grain and careful material choice.
