Mario Botta, an original aquaforte titled Artifici (1994), is a limited edition 97/100, signed and dated, in excellent condition, depicting architecture in an abstract style, sheet 46×35 cm with plate 23×23 cm, produced and sold by Galleria.
Description from the seller
Mario Botta – Original Etching (e.g. 97/100)
Signed, dated, and kept in a slipcase.
Sheet size 46x35
Plate size 23x23
This original etching by Mario Botta, internationally renowned architect, represents a rare and precious testimony to his design vision transposed into the language of art graphics. The work, dated December 1994 and signed by the author, is entitled "X Artificio" and is part of a limited edition of 100 numbered copies (this is number 97/100).
Created with a decisive, sharp, architectural line, the image shows a geometric and dynamic composition that recalls recognizable elements of Botta’s poetics: essential volumes, rational structures, spaces clearly defined. The building at the center, enclosed by lines that cross and overlapped, seems to emerge as a mental construction, more than a physical one, highlighting the continuity between drawing and design, between idea and space.
The work is printed with great quality on fine paper and housed in an editorial slipcase. An object intended for collectors, architects, and enthusiasts of contemporary graphics.
Shipped packed within 5 days of the award/bid.
