Igor Mitoraj's circular bronze medallion 'Articulations' with a gold patina, from 1984, diameter 9 cm, height 9 cm, depth 0.5 cm, edition J410/500, signed, in excellent condition with certified provenance from Italy.

Year: 1984;
Technique: Circular bronze medallion with gold patina;
Dimensions: Diameter 9 cm;
Specimen: J410/500;
Print run: It was produced in a limited and numbered edition of 500 units;
Signed at the bottom of the front, on the left;
Print run engraved on the back, in the center;
Title engraved on the back, in the center;
Inscription "EXPERIMENTATION MULTICENTRIQUE PFIZER 83-84" engraved on the verso, in the center;
Publisher: Artcurial - Paris, which directly oversaw the publication and distribution of the limited edition series;
Foundry: The casting was entrusted to the two famous artist associations present in the Pietrasanta Foundries district: the Mariani Artistic Foundry and the Tesconi Art Foundry;
Work accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from an art gallery;
The work was commissioned and linked to a project by the well-known pharmaceutical company Pfizer in 1983-1984, merging medical scientific research (probably linked to the joints of the human body) with Mitoraj's typical artistic vision of anatomical fragmentation;
Bibliography: General Catalogue of Artcurial Editions (Paris, 1984): Artcurial published the medal in its official register of multiples and miniature sculptures published between 1983 and 1984;
