D - Uli from Germany presents Elefant Blue, a handsigned ultramarine blue mixed‑media sculpture in edition 9/20, 23 cm wide, 24 cm high and 12 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been handmade by me in elaborate manual work.
Parts of the handcrafting traces are visible, which underscores the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the ambient light
Elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
Edition No. 9/20
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context,
by me altered and thus given a new life as a "work of art"
