Description from the seller
This expressive graphic work by Robert Melin depicts a stylised male portrait with strong, earthy tones of brown, ochre, black and blue. The face is constructed with bold, gestural lines and contrasting areas of light and shadow, giving the figure a powerful and introspective character. The loose brushwork and simplified forms create a distinctly modern expression.
