Title: Cold Echoes of Concrete
Measures: 55x70 cm
Year: 2025
Marco Valli is an Italian artist whose artistic research focuses on the contemporary urban landscape, examined as a space of memory and perception. His works arise from architectural fragments and metropolitan glimpses that are progressively simplified and layered through glazes, erasures, and material overlays.
In his canvases, the city loses its narrative dimension and becomes a silent surface, suspended between presence and dissolution. Figures and details emerge as temporary traces, suggesting a slowed time and an introspective vision of urban space.
NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person the artworks are more beautiful than in photographs: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
