Fasan guitar from Germany dating to the early 1950s, in good original condition, 4 kg, tested and functional, one item with no extras.
Description from the seller
Beautiful Fasan guitar.
Fasan was a legendary vintage guitar brand from the German guitar builder Franz Sandner (born 1903). The guitars were built from the early 1950s in Nauheim, Germany and are known for their excellent hand-made quality and iconic, somewhat extravagant designs. Because production in the artisanal workshop was relatively small-scale, many models are very rare. Therefore Fasan guitars are sought-after collector's items.
This Fasan is virtually entirely in original condition. Beautiful 'Blackrose' high-gloss finish, nicely adorned binding and refined side panels with layers of wood in different colors. The back also features a white binding. The pickguard is dark blue. New mother-of-pearl knobs, the tuning pegs themselves are original.
The guitar shows some cosmetic signs of use and aging, which is to be expected on an instrument of this age; the guitar is after all more than 65 years old.
Equipped with new Django Jazz strings and well playable.
