In this section we present the writing instrument with the most generous and authoritative proportions of Hamburg craftsmanship, rendered in a modern aesthetic and with a cool, magnetic charm: the Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand Ballpoint Pen (Model 161) with Platinum Line finishes.

Compared to the standard Classique model, the LeGrand stands out for a significantly larger barrel diameter and weight. This increased “stature” gives a sense of extraordinary solidity, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable grip and an unmatched on-pocket presence in a jacket pocket. The cigar-shaped body is forged in glossy black precious resin, highlighted by the bright platinum-plated finishes on the three massive bands, the clip, and the imposing cap-end. On the crown sits the unmistakable emblem of the white star.

The mechanical operation relies on the classic and smooth twist mechanism. The excellent photos of the disassembled pen reveal the robust brass internal threading, a construction detail specific to the LeGrand line that certifies its absolute quality and originality. Inside there is the original Montblanc refill.

The overall condition is assessed as excellent in both structural and aesthetic terms. The black resin retains a mirror finish and is free of chips or cracks; only the physiological and almost imperceptible micro-scratches (hairlines) scattered along the body are noticeable. The platinum plating is bright and intact. In the interest of customary and rigorous transparency, it is essential to note the presence of a professionally personalized laser-engraved inscription on the side of the cap bearing the initials "G G" in an elegant gold italic script (clearly visible in the provided photographs). On the clip ring the serial code is regularly engraved.
