Irina Biatturi, winner of the Public Prize and the prestigious President's Prize at the Florence Biennale 2023 in Italy, as well as the Best European Artist Award at World Art Dubai 2024, is a graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Art Academy — today UNArte — in Bucharest. Passionate about painting since childhood, she has lived in several countries, notably Mexico and New Zealand. She now considers Antibes her home and the center of her artistic universe.
Her captivating oil paintings, devoted mainly to the themes of femininity and sensuality, are deeply influenced by the elegance of Art Deco, the organic forms of Art Nouveau, and the luminous atmosphere of the French Riviera, where she has lived for more than twenty years.
Her works evoke a sense of peace and serenity, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the glamorous and enchanting atmosphere of the 1920s on the Côte d’Azur. They are today part of numerous private collections and have been presented in renowned galleries, museums, and international art fairs.
Her work has also been featured in various publications, including Nice-Matin, Vauban Magazine, ToutMa, La Strada, Maisons et Jardins Magazine, COTE Magazine and Univers des Arts, as well as on the book covers of renowned authors such as Serena McLeen and Jessica Anthony.
