Irina Biatturi, winner of the Public Prize and the prestigious President’s Prize at the 2023 Florence Biennale in Italy, as well as the Best European Artist Award at World Art Dubai 2024, is a graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Academy of Fine Arts — today UNArte — in Bucharest. Passionate about painting since childhood, she has lived in several countries, notably Mexico and New Zealand. She now regards Antibes as her home and the center of her artistic universe.

Her captivating oil paintings, primarily devoted to the themes of femininity and sensuality, are deeply influenced by the elegance of Art Deco, the organic forms of Art Nouveau, and the luminous atmosphere of the French Riviera, where she has lived for more than twenty years.

Her works evoke a sense of peace and serenity, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the glamorous and spellbinding mood of the 1920s on the French Riviera. They are now part of numerous private collections and have been shown in renowned galleries, museums, and international art fairs.

Her work has also been featured in various publications, including Nice-Matin, Vauban Magazine, ToutMa, La Strada, Maisons et Jardins Magazine, COTE Magazine and Univers des Arts, as well as on the covers of books by well-known authors such as Serena McLeen and Jessica Anthony.
