Kevin Garnett is an exclusive original work by the French pop- and street-art artist AIIROH from 2023.
The large-format work, measuring approximately 75 × 75 cm, was created on high-quality fine-art paper with a weight of 300 g/m². As a base, a lithograph was used, which AIIROH subsequently personally further processed and finished by hand with acrylic paint. This combination of print technique and manual work gives the piece its distinctive mixed-media character.
Kevin Garnett is a true one-of-a-kind – edition 1/1. There is thus only a single copy of this edition. The work bears the artist's characteristic stencil signature and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
The motif is dedicated to basketball icon Kevin Garnett and combines sport and pop culture with AIIROH's characteristic street-art aesthetics. The bold portrayal and the hand-worked acrylic elements create a powerful work with a strong reference to modern American pop culture.
About the artist:
AIIROH was born in 1987 in southern France and has been drawing and painting since childhood. His long-standing work as a graphic designer in France and Switzerland shapes the clear, graphic, and immediately recognizable style of his art.
His works are influenced by Pop Art, New Pop Art and Street Art. AIIROH particularly explores the impact of brands, consumer goods and well-known symbols on our perception and our aesthetic notions.
For his works he combines different contemporary techniques and materials such as lithography, acrylic and spray paint, stencils and collage elements. Through additional hand-finishing, pieces lie at the interface of print graphics, Pop Art and mixed media.
AIIROH has worked on projects with chef Nobu and the watch brand Hublot and created bottle art for the French winery Bertaud Belieu in Saint-Tropez.
Kevin Garnett is, due to its large format, the individual acrylic finishing, the stencil signature and especially the unique 1/1 character, a special piece for collectors of contemporary Pop Art, Street Art and sport-related art.
