ARTIS Art Gallery: The renewal of artistic authenticity
In a world where art has too often become a mass-market product, where name replaces talent and industrial production substitutes the hand of the artist, ARTIS Art Gallery is committed to selling only works that meet strict criteria.
Our mission is simple yet radical: to restore the nobility of authentic creation.
Our commitment: true art, with brave and, above all, hardworking artists.
We travel across Asia in search of real talents, artists whose work is not merely a commercial strategy. For us, a work of art is not a standardized commodity. At ARTIS Art Gallery, every piece we offer meets strict criteria:
100% hand-made: Each work results from meticulous artisanal effort, where the artist’s hand is the sole engine of creation.
Guaranteed uniqueness: We reject industrial reproduction, subcontracting, and factory production systems. What you acquire is a unique work, designed and created by the artist themselves.
The signature as commitment: each work is personally signed by its creator. This signature is not just a formality; it is the seal of authenticity and the assurance that the artist fully owns their work from first sketch to finish. We refuse signatures on the plate (printed signature); only hand-signed by the artist are accepted, otherwise we reject the works.
Against "Art Marketing"
We firmly oppose the current trend of selling “names” rather than works. Buying a “decorative” piece produced in series, with no real intervention by the artist, is like buying a fashion accessory: its value fades as soon as the marketing wanes.
We prefer to rely on the intrinsic quality of time devoted. An artist who takes the time to create, who shapes every detail and pours their soul into their work, is the one who will leave a lasting imprint. While we cannot predict the future, we deeply believe that these authentic works are the only investments that, over time, gain depth, emotion, and value, where purely promotional products fade away.
Why choose a work from ARTIS Art Gallery?
By choosing a work with us, you do not merely acquire a piece of art. You support:
1. Emerging talent: You enable talented artists to live from their art without compromising their integrity.
2. Ethics and transparency: you know exactly who made your work and how it was created.
A true guarantee of acquiring a work created by the artist themselves, not crude subcontracting, is the bond between those who seek truth in art and those who create it with passion, patience, and talent.
3. Long-term investment: You invest in artistic reality rather than marketing illusion.
4. Ethics and transparency: you know exactly who made your work and how it was made.
This is the real guarantee of acquiring a work created by the artist themselves, not mere subcontracting, and serves as the link between those who seek truth in art and those who create it with passion, patience, and talent.

Artist biography: Nguyen Robert, born 1958
Born in 1958 in Ben Tre, an authentic village in the heart of the Mekong Delta, Nguyen Robert is a Franco-Vietnamese artist whose work stands out for a singular fusion of Asian traditions and Western artistic influences. From a young age, he was fascinated by the rural architecture around him, the lines of traditional houses, the volumes of floating markets, the shadows cast by water palms — all elements that would form the basis of his visual language.
Widely living in his native region, Nguyen Robert over the decades developed a deeply contemporary, modern, and architecturally oriented style. His paintings explore structures, lines, urban rhythms, and geometric abstraction, while preserving a poetic sensibility rooted in Vietnamese culture.
His Franco-Vietnamese double heritage enriches his approach: he borrows from the West the rigor of modern compositions and bold contrasts, while his Vietnamese soul injects softness, spirituality, and fluidity into his works. The result is a pictorial universe where modernity meets the timeless, where geometry dialogue with light, creating paintings of great visual power.
Renowned for his ability to transform everyday life into abstract landscapes, Nguyen Robert is today regarded as one of the unique voices of contemporary Delta Mekong painting. He continues his work in his Ben Tre studio, surrounded by the landscapes that shaped his identity, and continues to exhibit in several galleries in Asia and Europe, attracting collectors and art lovers seeking deeply modern, structured, and vibrant works.
