Max Giermann (born 1975 in Freiburg im Breisgau) is known to a broad audience primarily as an actor, comedian, and impressionist. Parallel to his stage and television work, he has for many years pursued visual art. His artistic training includes, among other things, studies in media art at ZKM Karlsruhe as well as acting studies at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin.

In his pictorial work, Giermann principally deals with figures, faces, and human identity. In addition to painting and drawing, printmaking also belongs to his artistic repertoire. His works have been shown, among others, at the Ulm Art Association and many other exhibition venues.
