Daniele Teobaldelli was born in 1949 in Macerata and passed away in March 2026
the artist has since the 1980s devoted himself to studying Italian Classics, then to the study of the Impressionists and Cubism. His painting turned toward a Realism expressed through paintings of nudes, portraits, still lifes. He paints landscapes of Italian and Greek scenes, free compositions of mythological and fantastical themes. His work is characterized by influences from classical art and impressions of primitive art. Teobaldelli often exhibited in Italy, but with great frequency and public success he held exhibitions in Greece where he has resided for a long time. Through his works he strives to capture the essence of reality beyond superficiality: matter is represented in its eternity and continuity. Starting from the Impressionist lesson, he matures his own artistic philosophy that leads him to paint the world not filtered through the subjectivity of the five senses but in its essentiality. His works grasp this essential reality, reflecting on the theme of color and painted brushwork.
