Description from the seller

A0000006048

Magnificent and highly coveted vintage Parker 75 Ciselé writing set, consisting of a fountain pen and a matching ballpoint. Introduced in the 1960s, the Parker 75 quickly became a symbol of status and one of the most praised writing instruments for its design and ergonomics.

Both pieces are made of solid sterling silver 925, boasting the world-famous Ciselé finish: a meticulous grid pattern whose grooves are darkened to highlight the relief and offer an unmistakable tactile texture. The details, including the iconic arrow-shaped clip and the flat end caps (tassies) at the ends, are elegantly gold-plated.

The fountain pen features Parker’s revolutionary ergonomic contoured nib, which allows a perfect grip. This nib houses a superb solid 14-carat gold nib manufactured in the United States, tuned to a versatile F (Fine) point. This system also allows slightly rotating the nib to adjust to the exact writing angle of the user. With ideal proportions of 12.8 cm in length, it is a very agile pen.

The set is presented in its original Parker era case, with padded interior.

Technical details of the piece:

Type of item: Solid silver writing set.
Model: Parker 75 Ciselé.
Nib: Solid 14k gold (Fine point).

Condition and Conservation: As these are writing instruments with several decades behind them, it is important to remember that their charm lies in the traces of time. We cannot demand the clinical perfection of pieces freshly manufactured, but rather admire the patina and character that only years confer. Both pieces are in excellent aesthetic and functional condition. The sterling silver does not show deep dents or deformities, preserving a beautiful vintage patina (it can be polished if the new owner prefers total shine, though collectors usually prefer to keep it). The 14k nib is in perfect condition.

Case/Accessories: Complete set with original vintage Parker case.

Please consult images carefully to admire the Ciselé engraving work, the condition of the silver, and the preservation of the gold nib.

The lot will be carefully protected, extremely securely packed, with insured shipping and tracking number.
