Overview

This is an Exacta Soviet-made mechanical pocket watch with a distinctive railway theme and strong industrial-period character. The white dial features large black Arabic numerals together with a red 13-to-24-hour auxiliary scale, while subsidiary seconds are positioned at 6 o’clock. The case back is decorated with a prominent relief of a steam locomotive, creating a coherent railway-inspired appearance. The principal highlight is the combination of the 24-hour-style dial and the detailed steam locomotive relief on the back.

Dial: White dial with large black Arabic numerals and a red 13-to-24-hour outer scale. The dial is signed EXACTA, marked 17 Jewels, and carries a red emblem together with MADE IN USSR above 6 o’clock.

Case: Silver-coloured open-face metal case. No clear precious-metal fineness hallmark is visible in the supplied photographs, therefore no specific precious-metal content is attributed. The back features a large and detailed relief of a steam locomotive.

Movement: Soviet mechanical movement clearly marked 18 Jewels, with visible ruby bearings, large bridge construction, gear train, balance and regulator.

Please note that the dial is marked 17 Jewels, while the movement itself is marked 18 Jewels. Both markings are recorded exactly as visible, without attributing a reason for the difference.

Condition:

The watch remains in good vintage condition. The white dial is well preserved, with the black numerals, red 24-hour scale, branding and subsidiary seconds register remaining clear and attractive.

The silver-coloured case shows normal age-related surface marks, wear and light patination. The steam locomotive relief on the back remains clearly defined and visually impressive. The movement shows normal age-related surface wear while appearing visually complete.
