ABOUT THE ARTIST

Oliveiros Junior, aka Utopia, is a Brazilian self-taught visual artist who began his graffiti journey in São Paulo in 1996, at the age of 13, influenced by the Hip-Hop and street-art movement.
Over the years, his practice has evolved from graffiti and murals into contemporary painting, sculpture and mixed media. His distinctive visual language combines vibrant colours, expressive characters, spray paint, acrylic and experimental techniques.
Now based in Lisbon, Portugal, Utopia has participated in international street-art festivals, exhibitions and artistic projects. His artworks and murals can be found in different countries and private collections around the world.
