Rare and unique silkscreen from the series “Five Geometric Figures in Five Colors” (1986) by Sol LeWitt.
This work is listed in the Sol LeWitt Prints Catalogue Raisonné under reference 1986.06.
It concerns Plate #18, a geometric figure in gray, executed in LeWitt's characteristic minimalist and conceptual style.
The work is bottom-right hand-signed in pencil.
This silkscreen print is not numbered, as each print in this series is unique in its color composition and combination.
As described in the Sol LeWitt Prints Catalogue Raisonné:
150 Sets were multispectral. These sets are all unique in their combinations (some sets contain more than one form in the same color). None of these sets are numbered, as they are all unique.
