Artist XTC’s hand-finished resin and vinyl sculpture Pomme Hermès 17 cm, an orange Hermes apple, measures 17 cm high, 14 cm wide and 14 cm deep, edition 8/30, signed and produced in France in 2026 with a COA, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Large resin Apple in orange Hermès, by XTC.
Approximately 14 cm in diameter and 17 cm tall.
Resin sculpture commercially produced and customized, finished by hand by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes as well as vinyl. The edition number applies to the artist's painted finish, not to the base object.
Numbered /30 and signed on the underside, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The artwork shipped is not the one in the photo but will be similar and unique.
Careful, tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual inquiry has evolved into a passion that needed to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, by the détournement (reappropriation) of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
HAND-FINISHED “Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, retouched by hand by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and vinyl.”
