This elegant Japanese Kyo-yaki flower vase (Hanaire) is attributed to Kiyomizu Rokubei (清水六兵衛), a celebrated name in the history of Kyoto ceramics. The piece features a graceful tsurukubi, or crane-neck form, with a slender neck and softly rounded body.

The surface is covered with an attractive pale blue Jun-style glaze (Kinyu / 均窯), displaying subtle variations in tone and texture created during firing. The restrained form and delicate glaze give the vessel a refined appearance well suited to traditional Japanese interiors and flower arrangements.

Designed as an Ichirin-zashi, or single-flower vase, the piece can be used for Ikebana, tea ceremony display, or tokonoma decoration. Its simple silhouette allows a single seasonal flower or branch to become the focus of the arrangement.
